BY ASSOCIATION was born of Harriet's heart and ethos, decades of experience in the advertising & editorial worlds, and a few too many matcha-fueled late nights. Her vision of a system where production could align with integrity fed into the inception of By Association. Formerly the co-founder of Creative Blood (UK), Harriet carried her extensive International expertise in working with premium clients as she wove the basis of a more heart-centered way of doing production. Today, Harriet's eye for high-quality art is expanding further out into the realms of music and narrative development as she forges a path for human-first entertainment alongside her team of multi-faceted creatives and producers.

Kat Barker has worked with some of the top brands in the world helping them to do early-stage creative research and uncovering emotional insights that have driven popular campaigns. Hailing from the world of Chicago improv, she began her journey as a performer and took her creativity, ability to adapt on the fly and impeccable listening and parlayed it into helping companies tell more impactful stories. Deeply intuitive, Kat enjoys mining emotional truths that help brands connect to their audiences. She has worked with brands ranging from tech, to media, to finance, to food, to healthcare, to skincare, to fragrance and more. An accomplished storyteller, stage director and improviser, Kat enjoys using play, laughter, and audience engagement to innovate new ways to collaborate. Kat also serves as the artistic director of By Association.

Andy Eninger is a writer, improviser and theatrical director who has designed organizational learning & innovation programs for over two decades. He has helped hundreds of corporations to develop their employees on topics ranging from sales enablement to fast feedback to inclusion to executive presence. On the consumer side, he creates interactive ideation labs to help brands co-create with consumers to test, position, innovate and communicate. Andrew was the Head of the Writing Program for the Second City Training Center from 2011 to 2016 and holds an MA in Playwriting from Miami University. He continues to perform, write and improvise in his home town of LA.

John Loos is a seasoned corporate writer and world-travelling improviser who has combined his powers into a unique niche of insight gathering for brands. Trained in improv to notice everything on stage, he has observed countless consumer feedback sessions and, like a very adorable truffle pig, sniffs out unexpected themes, trends, trepidations, and easily missable subtext and rearticulates them into actionable, compelling insights. He has worked with small businesses and Fortune 500 companies alike, including leaders in industries as wide ranging as finance, health care, telecomm, Hollywood, Silicon Valley, consumer goods, pet care, breakfast foods, and vodka (which is also a type of breakfast food).
